I really enjoyed Amanda Forester's short story, Highland Christmas Bride! Loved her two main characters Kenna and Gregor into their Highland adventure! I do think it could have been longer!

I liked the story line, I just wish it were longer! I'd love to find out about the evil man her father sold her to and for Brodie to interact with him after he married Kenna. I hope the next book has interaction between the brother and sister!

This is a quick moving short story. Kenna is the daughter of a warlord who treats her as a convenience. She feels her life will always be that of a slave. Then she hears her father selling her to an evil man who is known for his cruelty to women.

Kenna runs away to an enemy in order to sell information in exchange for a wedding. She believes that if she is married, her father will not be able to touch her.

I enjoyed the story. There are not any huge surprises, but there is entertainment.

I received this short story from the author. I have voluntarily reviewed it and all opinions are my own.
At first I thought the timeline was off, but I was wrong. I very much would have liked a longer version. Good story.
